After spending a few days in Germany seen the family of my wife, I came home and found in my inbox an e-mail with a very interesting interview with a Nobel prize for medicine on the pharmaceutical industry and its power to cure (or not cure). For those who thought or think I am making unfounded accusations in my blog on the pharmaceutical industry and politicians, this interview might open your eyes a little bit (I was the first surprised to read these words directly from a Nobel Prize for Medicine) Subject: “The drug that completely cures is not profitable” (Interview with the Nobel Prize for Medicine Richard J. Roberts). Lluís Amiguet – La Vanguardia. I’m 63 years old: the worst about getting older is that you consider many “truths” as holy: that’s when you need new questions. I was born in Derby, my mechanic father gave me a chemistry […]

Here we are, another year at the day known as the “World Diabetes Day”. And here I am, with a more critical attitude towards it. Well, don’t get me wrong. I agree that there should be prevention campaigns advising people to live healthier ways of life in order to avoid future problems like diabetes. But I think that everything organized on this day has been thought, developed and paid unilaterally. I mean, that it is only shown one point of view, one perspective on how to treat diabetes. I’ve read on the Internet that the World Diabetes Day is the “most important overall information campaign in the world about diabetes.” Well, how can they call something “overall” if it only informs about one point of view (allopathic)? And I continue with what I found on the net: “Its purpose [of this Day] is to make known the causes, the treatment […]

Thanks to my research on diabetes, I’ve come to know that there are many different ways to improve our health and even cure “incurable” diseases (as allopathic physicians say) such as diabetes. I guess that every one of those who have diabetes got this disease for different reasons: eating too much (and especially white flour and sugars), stress, a trauma, blockage of nerve pathways in the spinal cord, prolonged emotional problems, inherited, by a virus, caused by a drug or vaccines in children, etc… With this in mind, it seems logical that each one should look the best method to cure him/her according to what may have been the cause of their diabetes. What works for me, may not work for another one and vice versa. The good thing about natural therapies -practiced by specialists-, is that although it may not be the most appropriate for your particular case, it […]

Well, lets get to the point with the therapy that I’m using to heal my diabetes! Everything began one day, about four centuries before Christ, when Hippocrates said: “Let food be your medicine, and medicine be your food.”   I’ve always asked myself why traditional medicine considers Hippocrates as the “Father of Medicine”, even making medicine students take the Hippocratic oath before becoming “real” doctors who then completely forget how medicine should be according to him. Why hasn’t more research been done on nutrition to keep, treat and heal the body? After all, that’s what nature has put at our disposal. After 9 years of trying different therapies (low-carb diet, Ayurveda, Chinese medicine, Homeopathy…) I think I’ve found what is really helping my body achieve a better health, decrease the insulin dose, and have deep trust that I can, and I will, heal myself. It’s not that the other therapies […]

Dear readers, This is the first post I write in this special journal that I’ve decided to start in order to let everybody know what am I doing to heal my diabetes and maybe let it be a motivation for other people who are in a similar situation. In this blog, as its name clearly indicates, I pretend to monitor the therapy that I am doing in order to eliminate for good this “thorn” called diabetes that I’ve been living with since nine years. Yes, I deeply believe that diabetes can be healed and, in fact, I will be a proof of that! And all of you will be able to witness this if you visit this blog to keep yourself updated. I don’t pretend to be a pioneer in curing diabetes. In fact, if I am so sure that it can be healed it is because there have already […]

Today I heard a quote that I think is from the poet Walt Whitman, who said “Truth is simple. If it was complicated, everybody would understand it.” That made me think about how much we are used to make everything complicated. I see in that phrase a startling parallel with the current medical paradigm. Healing should be simple. Our bodies come with a perfect healing machine to this world and they “only” need the right stimuli (fresh and whole food, water, exercise …) and the appropriate internal and external environment (stressless, positive and confident in our healing) to carry out their primary function. Albert Einstein was also an advocate of simplicity. He said “Make everything as simple as possible, but not simpler.” If the great geniuses of history agreed on this, could it be that there is some truth in it?

Here I am again. Today I will be very brief and just say I want to open a place for the testimonials of others who are fighting and beating (or have been already cured) diabetes, either Type I or Type II diabetes. Those of you who want to share the positive results of the therapy/treatment that you are taking to overcome your diabetes, are invited to participate in this blog, either by posting comments on this post or e-mail (info @ healing-diabetes . com). I hope that these healing testimonials will motivate others to face their illness and not to lose hope. Thank you very much for your participation.

The answer to that should be something like “your problem is that you live in a society that has lost its contact with its creator and provider: Mother Nature. Today I want to write about the importance of diets to help the body heal itself from any illness. I’m experiencing the benefits of a healthy nutrition more and more everyday. Just to mention some of these improvements that I’m experiencing: -50% insulin intake reduction -weight reduction (in my case I did not need it, from my point of view) -digestive improvement (no more constipations or diarrheas) -halitosis (bad breath) has become neutral, that is, it doesn’t smell badly anymore -cold sore (herpes) that lasted between 1 and 2 months before until it disappeared, now they are gone in two or even one week -clearer thinking and a more positive attitude. And all that happened in just one month after having […]

Today I want to give a tip that can help us improve ourselves in any field. Visualisation is one of the most important techniques, and at the same time less known or used in order to get what we want in life. It’s something that athletes and elite sportsmen/women practice everyday before facing their exercises. And it seems that it works for them! But this technique can be used in whatever aspect of our life. If it works in sports, it will work for us as well! Here you have a video about how the pancreas works (with and without diabetes, with diabetes type I and diabetes type II) This way, once we have seen our pancreas “in action” with images (remember that our minds work with images), we will be able to use visualisation to imagine and “see” our body working the way we want it to work, that […]
