If you check it 2 hours after meals, it should be 140 or less. They say that, if your levels are between 110 and 126 after fasting or between 140 and 200 after meals, that is considered pre-diabetes. Numbers higher than that are considered diabetes. A1C levels under 6 are considered non diabetic. Above 8 worrying. My doctor tests my A1C (need to fast & have blood test done in doctor's office), she said it needs to be under 6.0. Reading your comments and I love it. Will get this book. Just purchased Curing Diabetes without Medicine by Susan Cohen and natural cures by a guy (can't remember his name)...real eye openers on the destruction of meds to our bodies. Tried to order this book and my order wouldn't go through, I hit submit and nothing happened...will try again after I ready the book by Cohen. I'm ready to be medicine free...but it requires change. I've stopped the candy and sweets... Keep sharing everyone, it's encouraging to us all. Will comment when I get this book. Have cataracts have to have eye surgery in 2 weeks...control your blood sugar now, been 9 years for me. Wish I hadn't waited so long but....I'm here now.
